Awesome new co-op member Paulina Freed on the Rad Dish~
As the school year at Temple University kicks into gear, the members of the Rad Dish Co-op are hard at work. For those of you who don’t know, the Rad Dish Co-op is a student run café on Temple’s Campus, located inside of Ritter Hall. The café sells all locally grown (within 100 miles), organic and sustainable food. Along with the delicious assortment of food and drink available, such as brownies, banana bread, vegan apple cookies and a variety of coffee and tea options, the Rad Dish also has an extremely friendly and eclectic environment. The goal of the Rad-Dish Co-op is to create a diverse and collaborative environment that seeks to enrich, expand and share ideas of health and wellness.
One of the most unique things about our wonderful café is we have an equity membership option. Equity members receive 10% discount at the café! Sounds amazing, right? All you have to do to be an equity member is either fifteen hours of work for the Co-op or pay $25 in dues.
Now that we’ve thrown all this information at you, let us tell you how to get involved! Come to a general information meeting every 2nd and 4th Monday of the month from 6-7. When you decide that you’re interested in being involved in the club, come to our task force meetings every Thursday night from 6-8.
